BioPunk Mini App

Due to issues with withdrawing funds from Patreon, I decided to build an alternative payment system based on cryptocurrency.

Early Access verification is now available through both Patreon and Telegram.

Telegram now serves as an alternative Early Access hub for the project.

The Mini App is not the game itself. It is the access and support hub around the game.

Crypto Pay is a Telegram-based payment system for cryptocurrency payments.

In BioPunk’s Mini App, Crypto Pay is used to create an invoice for the selected support tier.

When the invoice is paid, the system automatically activates your access for the selected tier.

It includes automatic subscription verification, similar to Patreon, so you can access it at any time of day or night without waiting for manual confirmation.

Support in this app is divided into tiers similar to the ones on my Patreon. These tiers apply to the content available inside the app and to Early Access verification through Telegram.

Unlike Patreon’s subscription system, Telegram support is handled as a one-time access purchase that gives you 30 days of access after payment.

Telegram verification is handled on the server. The Mini App sends Telegram initData to the backend, and the backend validates it before checking support tier status.

Payment confirmation must come from Crypto Pay webhook processing, not from the browser.

After the first successful opening, the game may continue checking access through the server.

Telegram does not need to remain open for every check.

However, if your browser session expires, your cookie is cleared, or you open the game from a new browser/device, you may need to open it again through the Telegram Mini App.

News and Others include a similar set of posts about updates, notes about the game, and other related content, just like on my Patreon.

Crypto payments are different from card payments.

A few important points:

- crypto payments are usually final;
- always check the amount before paying;
- always make sure you are paying the invoice opened from the official BioPunk Mini App;
- do not send crypto manually to random wallet addresses;
- use only the generated Crypto Pay invoice.

BioPunk access is activated automatically after the invoice is confirmed as paid.

The system is designed to avoid putting sensitive user identifiers inside payment payloads.

The payment payload uses an internal payment id.

It does not need to contain:

- Telegram ID;
- Telegram username;
- personal contact information.

Anonymous names may be used where possible to make the experience feel more private.

However, Crypto Pay and Telegram still operate as external services, and their own systems may process the payment/account information required for the payment to work.

Do I need Patreon?
No. Telegram Early Access is an alternative access system.

Do I need Telegram?
Yes, for Telegram Early Access.

Do I need cryptocurrency?
Yes, if you subscribe through Crypto Pay.

Can I use Tier 1 to play Early Access builds?
No. Playable Early Access builds require Tier 2 or higher.

Does Tier 2 include Tier 1?
Yes.

Can I open the game from a bookmark?
Sometimes the same browser session may continue working while your access session is valid and your subscription is active. For a fresh session, new browser, new device, or expired session, open the game through the Mini App.

What if I chose an anonymous name?
That name will be used for anonymous community-related features and may be used in payment-related display where possible.

Can I reset my anonymous name?
No automatic reset is currently available. Choose carefully.
